Requirements

Medical degree with completed specialist training in Endocrinology
Valid license (or eligibility) to practice as a Consultant in Abu Dhabi
At least 4 years of clinical experience in endocrinology, ideally with a strong focus on diabetic patients
Proficiency in performing and interpreting diagnostic assessments; FNA and ultrasound-guided FNA skills are an advantage
High level of English fluency (C2), Arabic is beneficial but not essential
Excellent communication, team collaboration, and patient education skills
Technologically adept, particularly with EMR systems and digital reporting tools

Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage a wide range of hormonal and metabolic disorders with a focus on diabetes care
Conduct thorough patient assessments, interpret lab and imaging data, and design individual therapy plans
Perform procedures such as fine-needle aspiration (FNA), ideally including ultrasound-guided methods
Offer clear patient education on long-term management, medication use, and lifestyle adjustments
Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
Participate in medical audits, team meetings, and quality development projects
Document all treatments accurately and ensure compliance with local health regulations
