Requirements

Minimum of five years' independent post-qualification experience, ideally from a Tier 1 country
Valid registration and certification as a Consulting Ophthalmologist
Current life support certifications (BLS, ACLS, or similar)
Expertise in advanced diagnostic tools and retinal disorder management preferred
Fluent in English (C2), Arabic is an advantage
Proven surgical expertise with independent case management
Recognized medical degree and postgraduate qualification approved by UAE authorities

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, ethically responsible patient care
Diagnose and treat a wide range of ocular conditions, including retinal diseases
Use advanced diagnostic tools and imaging technologies
Perform surgical and non-surgical interventions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Maintain precise and up-to-date medical documentation
Participate in clinical governance and quality assurance activities
Support education and training for medical students and junior colleagues
