Requirements

Graduation from an approved medical school, including internship
Postgraduate Master's degree in General Surgery (or equivalent Fellowships recognized by the DOH)
Minimum of 5 years of exclusive practice in General Surgery after certification
Eligible for licensure by the Department of Health (DOH) in Abu Dhabi
Strong command of English; basic knowledge of medical Arabic is desirable
In-depth understanding of medical ethics and patient confidentiality
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to provide leadership and mentorship to junior surgical staff

Responsibilities

Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for ear, nose, throat, head, and neck conditions
Perform various ENT surgeries, ensuring high-quality outcomes for patients
Offer consultation to other medical professionals in the field of ENT
Document patient information, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care in medical records
Participate in multidisciplinary conferences to discuss challenging medical cases
Collaborate with the medical team to integrate curative and preventive care programs
Oversee the operation of preventive and curative programs in the ENT field
Supervise and monitor the work of junior staff, offering training as required
Maintain confidentiality and ensure all patient care is conducted with integrity
Attend regular staff meetings and in-service activities for professional development
